Posted on October 29th, 2009 by admin
My son who is 29 and has been a plasterer for 10 years is having to give it up because of his wrist keep swelling up, tried lots of different medication but no joy. He wants to get into computer maintenance , although his spelling is not very good but you have spell checker, also he is willing to go to college to learn but because of his age the government wont give any money towards him learning and then they moan about people not working, my son wants to work and start a new career. He done a small course at adult education centre one day a week learning about computers but they only taught him what he already knows, he loves working on computers and it would suit him to do this work. He has no savings , so does anybody no if the adult education do advance courses in this sort of work, we are willing to pay if it is not too much. thank you for your help
If you are on benefits you get help with paying for courses from the Job Centre.
I saved over £600 on a Level 2 Diploma in Computer Maintenance.
