The mom and pop shops have THE BEST techs. Its the larger shops that have sucky/horrible techs. I fix pc’s so I wanted a point of view on price. I have found the larger shops have techs that dont even know how to get to a DOS Prompt - very sad.

Several years ago I purchased a Dell & I accidently pulled on the monitor cord and it broke a connection at the jack. I paid over $1,500 for this computer and Dell wouldn’t fix it nor could anyone else because their were no parts available. I was told Dell don’t repair computers they replace them but only if its under warranty.
if you broke the port for the monitor just get a new graphics card so that you dont have to deal with dell and its shitty tech support

You could develop websites - the computer to do that would cost in the neighborhood of $1,000.
If you’re thinking of providing web hosting, that won’t even pay your staff for 1 year, let alone the 3 years you should have capital for, and any other expenses (which will be considerable).
keeping the file system healthy and organized, keeps up the computers speed, makes it easier for the computer to find what it is looking for and faster on the HDD, makes sure your computer has a back up to fall on if it ever has a serious error and screwed something up really bad. etc
its like a car, if you don’t put oil in it, it will eventually slow down and burn up. if you don’t keep your computer well maintained, OS and physically, it will slow down and burn up.

I have TuneUp Utilities 2010 and Uniblue Powersuit 2010 installed on my computer. So is it like having 2 anti virus program where they interfere with each other or is it ok? I just want to keep my computer running as good as possible.

Well, not really. If you use both application for tweaking, every tweak you make will be reflected to the other program as they only have one source, the REGISTRY.
With Norton 360 Antivirus, how can i clean up and maintenance my computer and speed it up and all that?
My computer isnt running right, it is slow, it dosent load pages right sometimes it dosent load them at all. what can i do to help? i even have trouble posting this question!!! i have Norton 360

After downloading Go to utilities and click on IBot 360.
I do not recommend clicking on Returnil Virtual System.
I had used this Program for years and it has very high rating.
This program also cleans your computer and makes it run better.
Be sure to its Smart Defrag. This is not the same as windows defrag.
I also recommend formatting your computer so that you can kill Norton’s before it gets a big hold on your system.
Norton roots itself in your system and is hard to completely kill.

You could save the file if you want for later use that way you dont have to go on the web again to find it. On the other had you could not save it and save space on your (HDR)
I own a computer repair shop and I was wondering what you really hate about taking your computer to a repair shop? What service would you really like to see while there? Does price really matter to you? I would like to get more insight into my customers opinions to provide better service and a better all round experience for my clients. Since there are so many people today that can build and fix computers it all boils down to the price. Most of us can get it done for free from a friend or family member. The stuff that can’t be fixed easily is often cheaper to get replaced than fixed.
If you want to start a business and be successful then you need to A. fix them fast and B. fix them cheap.
I’m having trouble with my computer. It just seems like it is going really slowly. I used to be able to get on the internet with no problems, but now it takes like 10 minutes to load a single page. I was going to call geek squad but I heard a lot of complaints from some of my friends. Any suggestions?
It’s so hard to find a good shop. I would definitely advise you to keep asking around until you get a good recommendation, the larger shops charge too much and the super small ones (ie on craigslist) don’t do a good job and have terrible interpersonal skills.
