Computer Repair Irvine - Can any one recommend a Good Computer Repair Company in Irvine?

Posted on January 26th, 2010 by admin

I am looking for a computer repair company or technician for Irvine that knows pc computers, macs , networks and printers. Any Recommendations would be helpful.

I would recommend Act Global Support http://www.Actglobalsupport.com , they are amazing and they are Google Partners and they know what they are doing. I used them first for Google Apps, and then I found out they do computer repair and from there I started using them. And the best part about them, and I promise about this, is that you can negotiate your rates with them. I love that about them they are very honest and understanding. They will work with you if your having financial problems (well at least they did for me) I have a small business and they really went out of the way to help me. And they fix macs to. :)

Do I need a DBA or any license to run an add on Craigslist, offering computer repair?

Posted on January 20th, 2010 by admin

I am currently in college for computer programming, and wish to fix computers locally on the side. What I was planning on doing was running an ad, along with prices offering general PC repair locally on Craigslist. If I was to do this and attract business would I need a DBA or some other kind of license?

You will need a city business license, probably, and you will want to register a DBA name as well.

Posted on December 12th, 2009 by admin

I am trying to come up with good names for a computer repair business. It would have a physical store front where customers bring in computers for repair, come in to shop/buy accessories or used computers, and we would also go to their homes to do repairs.

Would love to get a ton of ideas!

What service can a Computer Repair and Web Design Company do to make more money?

Posted on December 2nd, 2009 by admin

My father owns a Computer Repair and Web Design Company. He will one day pass it on to me, I need a Business degree first. I want to get the company making more money so I can move it into an office building and hire on staff, then continue expansion. Right now, it is a work out of the home business me, my brother, and my dad run it. Anyone have any suggestions on what else should be added to make more money for the company?

Farm out some of your web design to a company like MA WebCenters. We provide a complete, top-of-the-line web design and hosting, including e-commerce, flash and all the latest technology. And we compensate you for each web site sold through your efforts and a substantial monthly residual n the portfolio you develop. We’ve created an impressive on-line web building software that’s as user friendly as using Microsoft word. If you can point and click a mouse you can use this software. And we provide unlimited customer support to your customers. All while you get paid to refer your customers and increase your online portfolio. And best of all, you can still do design work on the sites you manage, and charge continue to charge for your time and services. You’ll then be in a position to decide whether you want to move to an office.

Computer technicians: how long does your average repair take?

Posted on November 1st, 2009 by admin

I’m thinking about starting a small computer repair business, servicing small business and residential customers. I understand that this is a difficult question to answer, as some repairs take a few days and others take a few minutes. However, if you were to look at all the repairs in a given month and average the mean time to fix, what are we talking?

As an overall average I guess I would say an hour. A lot of problems are immediately apparent and easily fixed and of course upgrades take next to no time. Offset those against the harder to remove viruses or annoying networking issues and I reckon it averages an hour.

What should I go to college for if i want to get into computer repair?

Posted on October 27th, 2009 by admin

Okay so I really want to get into computer repair, but as of right now i just don’t have the skills necessary to do it. I not only want to study on how to fix hardware but also software issues too. What should i go to college for to teach me all of this?

There are computer repair courses at most technical schools or community colleges. Learn that separately from a college program on computer programming or something similar. Repair courses are not usually long. Go to a workforce or labor department or state employment agency to find out where to take the course. If you are not working , the state might find an free course for you.

Starting personal computer repair business a good idea?

Posted on October 15th, 2009 by admin

I’m looking to get into personal computer repair along side my new job, which is a computer support specialist at a private school. I have 3 years of pc repair experience prior to this job. I was wondering if anyone had any tips to help me get started and if they even think it’s a good idea?

Give it a shot. This is actually a pretty good idea.
