    Spyware protection
    Operating system and software upgrades
    Proper and careful use (especially, if you don’t know what it does don’t change it)
    Secure passwords (and security in general)
    house-keeping (e.g. spyware removal and occasionally defragging the hard-drive)
    and last but not least…
    If it ain’t broken don’t fix it!
