I wish to start my COMPUTER REPAIR SHOP.What are the important things to prepare?

Except for the licence from the the Government and so on…What are the must have tools for starting computer repair shop?
Should I need extra computer pheriperals inside my shop?please advise me.
question ~~
1) why would you expect people to bring computer to fix at your shop ?
2) what advantages do you have over other shops?
3) who are your target customers? i.e. corporates, small business owners etc…
personally i don’t think you are ready because i don’t think you have thought about how profitable this business is..
most of the computer repair shop also sell computer parts for a reason …
how could you beat their price in computer parts ?

You need to develop a good reputation. Dont expect that business to take off until you have a few satisfied customers, i know i wouldnt trust my computer to some small business i had never heard of. Get advertising on the radio, tv, business cards, word of your business needs to spread.

refurbished/rebuilt computers, plenty of shelf space, extension cords, receipt book, customer log book, cash lock box, screw drivers, soldering gun,

a couple of benches,
tools: wire cutters desolder tool, solder gun 30 Watt max , solder 60-40 or silver .. screw drivers Phillips and straight , electric chargeable drill and bit set….18 volt? Multimeter most important, rubber pad for boards include grounding wrist strap, tags and invoices,….plus allot more,
info: have nice access to a parts dealer in town, good schematics….wait you don’t need them unless ancient .. common sense and care with handling hardware.
know ledge of listening to customers to as if its a software problem or hardware…. and a million other things
but this should get you started.
