It is legal to work for your self business as a computer agent who repair computers without a diploma?

Hi I am 24 years old and i had repair almost for 6 years computers for my friends and family ,I have a fluent knowledge in computer repair,but i don’t have any diploma. I am thinking to start a self business in computer repair ,but i do not know if it is legal to do it without a diploma or certification. I will like if someone can answer my question .Thank you
There are many things that you do not have to be "certified" in, and computer repair is one of them. Don’t mess somebodies computer, with out expecting to replace it, you could be sued. Though you do need a business license, testimonials would be something that would help your company a lot.

You do not need a diploma to start your own business. Some types of certifications may give you more credibility with potential customers. For example, many companies in your line of work will be "Microsoft Gold Partners" or something like that. However, this is not a requirement and for smaller customers, they may care more about talking to reference customers as a prerequisite to doing business with you.

It may depend on where you are, what country you are in. The laws may be different in different countries. I wouldn’t think you would need to have a degree or certificate, but it is possible in some places you might.

You don’t need any certification. Start your business, make sure you have contacts and testimonials.
